Outreaching to The Community and The World
Over the years at Washington Apostolic Church God has placed burdens in the hearts of various church members to start different outreach programs. The amazing message of grace told in scripture can't be hidden. It must be proclaimed to the ends of the Earth. We have found ways to accomplish this through radio, missions, various evangelism programs, and our latest addition Angel Food Ministries. God will continue to work in our church member’s lives to grow our outreach programs to win souls for Christ.
Angel Food Ministries
We are blessed at Washington Apostolic Church to serve our community through Angel Food Ministries!
Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. Angel Food is available in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized box at $30 per unit. Each month's menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value of approximately $60.

Interested in Volunteering?
There is always place for a helping hand!
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Transport - Help load and unload food items, this is an early bird task at 8:00 am!
- Assembly Line - Help distribute food items
- Reception/Registration/Delivery/Prayer - Meet and Greet!
Distribution Days are one Saturday a month from 12:00 am - 1:30 pm

Missions
Greetings! Our Missions Ministry was officially founded in 2006 and we began our work in the missions field shortly after. For many years Washington Apostolic Church has helped build ministries from the Serria Madres Mountains of Mexico all the way to the depths of Brazil. Our church first began ministering to people in Bolivia through a minister of God, Brother Carlos Duran. As the Missions Ministry continued to grow and was able to sustain itself, our eye turned to another needy country, Mexico. We began helping lost children without families in Mexico, as well as Brazil.
Currently our church is helping the countries of:
- Peru: through our brother in Christ, Minister Dionisio Conteras,
- El Salvador: through our brother in Christ, Minister Jose Esteban Hernandez
- Nicaragua: through our brother in Christ, Minister Marcos Gaitan
- Guatemala: with Minster Cesar Tellez, Brother Gelmer and Sister Carmen Palma
Dedicated church members help pay for mission expenses with a five dollar a month offering. All who would like to help in spreading the love and Word of Jesus Christ are always welcome.
